Hyderabad: Telangana state BJP official spokesperson N V Subhash on Wednesday urged people to be wary about opportunistic politics of Opposition parties, whose sole aim is to defeat BJP in the elections.
Taking a jibe at West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, on the opposition unity, Subhash said, Congress and other parties have no programmes to develop the country. But their main aim is to defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leaving no stone unturned for this purpose. However, Modi government has the support of people earned by its developmental and welfare programmes taken up in the country for all the sections of people, he adds.
“More efforts are on to unite Opposition parties for their opportunistic politics. But the majority being BJP, is getting stronger to defeat their nefarious designs,” Subhash asserted. He alleged that Congress party will continue to follow appeasement policy so as to get Muslim votes in Karnataka assembly elections.
